I need some opinions. I'm on doxy and zith. Small doses. I took the zith for a month then added doxy. I had to stop the doxy for a week because I went on vacation somewhere sunny. I've been back on both drugs for about 10 days.

I have this horrible pain in my side around left flank, waist area. It hurts when I move etc...feels like muscle or nerve pain. I do have muscle and nerve pain all over anyway.

I developed the side pain when I first started the doxy. It went away when I was off of it.

I have sweats, twitching all over, the side pain etc...Do you think this is a herx?

I had my urine checked. It was normal.

Thanks.

Did you talk to your doctor about stopping the doxy to go on vacation? Mine told me to use sunscreen and stay in the shade.

I'm sorry, I don't know about the side pain. Which side is it on?

Left side. No I didn't ask him. I planned on being on the beach so I just stopped it.
