I started out on immune build and had some patches of hives and increase in symptoms. Then went to Ceftin 500 twice a day 1 week-jumped to 1000 twice a day 2nd week.

During the 2nd week I was having rashes pop up on my stomach, inside my arms etc. Then everything STOPPED even most of my symptoms.

I really started feeling better and more like ME than I have in a very, very long time!!!

3rd week added Biaxin 500 twice a day. That was this past Sunday. Going into my 5th day after adding Biaxin.

First few were fine besides some bone pain in my ribs starting up. 3rd day I started having muscle aches and even some cramping that were very bad. Yesterday I had a lot of anxiety building, some different rashes popping up, even some that appear "under the skin". Neck and shoulder pain climbing too.

My facial spasms went off the charts yesterday a few times. And I started having some palps which I havent had in about 2 weeks at all.

Basically I felt like crap last night. My sinus issues went berzerk (sp?), my right knee was and is killing me climbing stairs was hard. My right hand started trembling and feeling like it was not responding, working right. Weird feeling!

Woke twice with my arm and hand numb during the night and NOT sleeping on it!

I go up to 1000 of Biaxin 2wice a day on top of the Ceftin on Sunday. I can feel the herx building and quite frankly I am a bit scared. My biggest fear is that my heart is going to get "stuck" in palps and that I wont be ok and it will push me over the edge.

Wanted to update and realized after finishing this post, it really should be in General Support, huh!?!?

Sure hope I can get through this ok.....

Hang in there! You most likely will have a pretty good herx. Breath slowly, deeply, and calmly, that always helped me with the palps.

That's an awful lot of Biaxin...especially on top of Ceftin. [Eek!] Does your dr know about the heart palps?

Hi cj - That is alot, but it's also ramping up really fast. I would see how your feeling by Sun before ramping up any further. Sounds like your body might need alittle more time to adjust to the biaxin. Remember, slow & steady, not fast & furious, IMO.

Also, not sure about anyone else, but for me the heart palps were a pre-curser to full blown panic attacks. Wouldn't want you to have to go there - they suck! It was at that point that I needed a combo anti-depressant & anti-anxiety - not sure about the name, I think it might have been Reglan?
Anyway - it was great at that time. Stopped all of that dead in it's tracks. Haven't needed it in about 4 yrs or so now, but took it for maybe 2 yrs.

Are u doing anything in the way of detoxing the die-off? That will help reduce herx alot...

Hope this herx passes for u soon!

As soon as your feeling up to it please call or PM me w/TN's LLMD number. Thanks!

(((hug)))
