My doctor believes I have Lyme disease due to over 20 years of symptoms and test results from Immunosciences that were abnormal and Bowen QRib which was 1:128. I found my Doctor after already having a baby and breastfeeding for a while (my baby does not have any symptoms and is 22 months old). I have consulted with the Lyme pediatrician on the breastfeeding part and was told, while I am weaning I can start Amoxicillin or Ceftin and do not have to wean abrubtly. I went on Amoxicillin at 3000mg a day for 4 months and did not notice any difference in symptoms for the worse or better. I have been changed to Ceftin now at 1000mg a day and have been on this for 1 and a half months, and again do not notice any difference in symptoms at all. I realize I am not on the full protocol but wanted to know if anyone has an opinion why I don't feel any reaction to the high dose of these antiobiotics.
Thanks
