After 3 yrs of abx (and still sick) I thought I would explore yet other treatments. So I bought a CD about how to build a Doug coil machine and gave it to my boyfriend. Well, he built one but the CD was difficult to understand so he wrote another one that is easier to follow. He spent 200+ hours writing this tutorial, it is excellent and very clear. He wants to help Lymies so he will send it to anyone at his cost which covers postage, a blank CD and the mailer. If you want one you can PM me or email me, my email is below.

Where did you find this man? Sounds like a keeper! Have you started using the machine?
What so far has caused any change for the better? Weren't you going to try hyperbaric?

I heard the Doug Coil is very good, but I think it costs about $2000 to build or to get someone to build it.

I am glad someone has improved the instructions for building the Doug Coil. The other one was not detailed enough for most people. Maybe I will actually build one now.

Yes, I have a home mild hyperbaric chamber and a small contact rife machine and I relapsed while faithfully using them. That's why I wanted the more powerful Doug coil machine. I was back on ketek/IM Bicillin for several months and the yeast just gets way too much in spite of Diflucan, nystatin, probiotics and a very good diet. Besides, when I feel well on abx and then stop it all comes back. And the relapses are just too discouraging. I want a more permanent solution. How am I doing with the Doug? It's too soon to tell but I definately herx and I'm not pumping all those abx and antifungals into me anymore. As soon as I'm sure that's it's helping I will let you all know. I have meet a women who got entirely better with the original Doug machine, she went to his house to use it. This was in 1989.
Thanks, valymemom, he is definately a keeper. I needed a break.

Hi Janet,
I'm so happy for you to have such a supportive person in your life.
It means so much and is so important for recovery.
As above, definitely a keeper.

I just took a good look at the Doug Coil video I ordered. Wow, it is like it was made by a professional instructor. Very detailed and precise.
Any one who would like to build one of these can do it with the help of the CD. If you have any handyman type skills, then you just need the time.
Now, I need to find the time.
Thanks for offering this, and at cost to boot.

Thanks for the idea.
He has created a google (free) webpage where he plans to upload the CD but so far google has not published it. We can't figure out why. It's been two days.
