Normally I would think these menstrual symptoms, but considering I completed my cycle a few days ago, I am perplexed. The lower back pain is primarily on my right side. There is a hip bone about 4-5 inches to the right of my lower spine, this is where it hurts.

Anyone experience this? When I would have back pain before it was almost always located next to the spine. Stretching exercises seem to make it worse.

Thanks for your input.

lower4 back pain is hoorid...affects legs & walking.

I used to constantly feel a "needle" in my left buttock. I used to gauge my progress by it.

Now on Rifampin, mino, biaxan, and bactrim. Don't have "needle in my butt".

muscle relaxers and magnesium/calcium helped me tolerate it prior to this regime

Hi EWT1638

I get really bad back pains at time. The only thing that seems to help me is a moist heat.

When I am herxing I notice the pain seems to start in my back & spread out. Are you herxing?

Do you have pain in your hip? I had my rt hip pain for 7 years straight. It cleared up durning my first IV & abx's in 94. It comes back only rarely now. Lyme loves the joints & the back is one big joint [Frown]

Anyway I hope this pass's quickly for you. back pain really stinks [group hug]

Sorry about your back and leg pain. I had this pain starting at the hip bone and down my right leg 2 months ago. Put me to the floor. My back had little pain. One heck of a pain at the hip socket.

It was determined that I had a Sciatica nerve problem. After therapy for six weeks, stretching back and right leg muscles, the problem has eased.

Added Wobenzyum, Potassium. and Cal-Mag Citrate, to my list of supplements.

Never had a problem in the past, believe Lyme was the cause. Good Luck

This probably has nothing to do with this topic, but just in case.

My LLMD had me come off of an anti-inflammatory med that I had been on for 3 1/2 years because of bruising issues.

After the first three days, my abdominal bloating was gone!! My insides are working better!!

The strangest part is that when I went on this med., it helped tremendously with the bloating I was having back then!!

Go figure!! [spinning smile]

When my stepmother had her gallbladder taken out, the attacks hit her back. Right side would be about right.

It could also be the sacroiliac joint.

Forgot to mention before & just thought I would throw this out there~

My mom has back problems. She has some vertabra that are shifting. Anyway when her back pain acts up she gets really bloated with gas. Her vertabra are pressing on the nerve that has something to do with her bowel function.

It could also be what lymetoo suggested ~Yeast. When I get yeast, gas & blaoting are a real red flag for me.

hope you can feel better soon [group hug]
Dana
