Wondering if anyone has experience with doing Rocephin IV therapy and Doxycyline IV at the same time. I don't mean mixing the two together I mean can you do Rocephin IV and at the same time do Doxycyline?
I am hearing that Doxy makes a world of difference and would like to add it to my doing the Rocephin IV.

I am on IV Doxy (I cannot tolerate oral antibiotics and could never tolerate oral Doxy even when my stomach was better) and it has helped me a little in the last 6 weeks (how long I've been on it). For me, helping a little is a big deal because most treatments have to be stopped because of side effects or because they do not do anything (or because of insurance) and at least it has stabalized me and I'm seeing some small improvements.
I am not on Rocephin at the same time but I do believe they can be used at the same time. But that's something you should check with your doctor or IV pharmacist about to know for sure.
