Well, what I mean is if you hold your neck a certain way for longer than a few seconds, do you get stiff. Its the same way for me with just about every body part.

Yup, i get this. If i sit too long all my pelvic muscles get stiff. I feel like im the tin man most days.

When I sit too long (especially if I'm at some type of function in an uncomfortable chair), I am stiff and miserable.
That is why I drag myself to karate 3 times a week. I would never work out and stretch like I do there. Some days I don't think I can manage going through the class but I always seem to make it.
That is when I feel the best. When my muscles are stretched out. Even stretching helps me if I can't work out and sweat the toxins out.
Sandy p.s. I realize some can't workout but I know for me, I'm much worse off when I don't.
