He has strep throat AGAIN!!! On top of the 2 lymph nodes behind his ear, he developed a rash this morning so we went back to the pedi.
His throat is as red as a lobster and she's starting him on 10 days of antibiotics. UGH! I cannot wait for my phone call with DR. J tomorrow night.
This is a kid who was never once sick, had not one rash or virus or even an ear infection before the tick bite. Since the bite, he's had so many random viruses, strep throat, coxsackie, echo virus, etc. to name a few.
I'm sick to my stomach over this. I know in my heart that it's Lyme related and I cannot wait to talk to DR. J again about my poor little man.
And do you believe that he's still in good spirits, happy and playing through all of these sicknesses? Breaks my heart..

I'm so sorry that your son is sick again!
Your son is very lucky that he has you to figure this out. Many parents would not have made it this far. Not to say that he does have lyme or some other TBI but if he does, I've no doubt you will get him the help he needs. I've heard you can't get any better than Dr. J. so you are in good hands.
You are doing the best that anyone could do. Keep in touch and let us know how you and your son are doing.
