Last time we heard that October 16 would bring the final decisions on his ordeal.

Did I miss anything?

I know it from this:

Date Set for Jones Decision

Business New Haven
10/01/2007
by BNH
HARTFORD - The state Medical Examining Board will decide the fate of controversial Lyme disease specialist Charles Ray Jones on October 16, according state Department of Health spokesman Bill Gerrish.

Jones is accused of improperly prescribing antibiotics to two children and the board may revoke his license. The case has also drawn the attention of Attorney General Richard Blumenthal, who has taken the part of those who advocate for long-term treatment of symptoms attributed to Lyme.

Mainstream medical opinion prescribes a short course of antibiotics to treat the tick-borne illness. Jones, whose practice is based in New Haven, is nationally recognized for his frequent diagnoses of Lyme and long-term treatments.

In nine hearings spread out over more than a year, both sides debated Jones' competency and the treatment and diagnosis of Lyme.

The full board will not make a decision until November. The newspaper article was incorrect.
