Dr. said it could be neuro lyme when swallowed liquids exit nasal passages periodically, is this possible???

Yes it is possible. When you swallow your velum (soft palate) should lift up and back
And effectively close off your nasal passage. You know that little thing that hangs down
In the back of your throat? It should reach and touch the back of your throat.
Just curious though. If it is not doing it's job during swallowing, are you speaking
Any differently? Sounding nasal at all? That soft palate also closes off the nasal
Passage for all sounds in the English language except m, n and ng which are nasal sounds.
I sure hope this isn't happening to you every time you swallow.
