Hi Ya'll , Wanted to ask if anyone has exaggerated symptoms on one side of their body that is worse than the other?
For instance , the top of my head on the left burns , the left side of my neck hurts worse (tho the whole neck hurts too),left shoulder and arm hurts worse, hip on lft, knee on lft ,ankle, foot.
yes even my big toe hurts worse on lft haha...seriously all my worse symptoms seem to be on the left side of my body ...don't get me wrong , most days its my whole body ...
just wanted to see if anybody else has this ?

I know that my right leg is usually the only one that I feel vibration in or have RLS with. I never had a problem with RLS until treatment and probably "kicking up" the bug.
I also only have headaches mainly on the right side of my head or "ice pick" headaches mainly on the right side.
The only difference mainly is that I usually get pain in my neck/shoulders on the left side. Recently, though, my right side has been popping/cracking and not the left side.

Yes, since day one, my left side was always my very worst pain. Not sure why it's like that, but still in treatment, it's been the case.

Left side too! It is slowly creeping over to the other side.

My right side has been my problem, when the constant pain in my right shoulder started to move across my chest I knew I had a problem. Since treatment at a LLMD I have had very little problems with my left side, only my right side from the neck down to my toes and that has improved greatly.

From day 1 my left side has been the worse for me. Plus my back.
I was told that Lyme will effect the weakist part of your body first and most.
I find it true for me. I have had a back operation and my left arm was broken at one time and they r the worse with the lyme. But it does effect the rest of me too, just not as bad.
best wishes

Mainly left here. I remember early on going to my dr and saying - it feels like something is inside me, spreading on my left side - even my
"incomplete Bells Palsy" was on the left side. When they would say "stress" I would say - heck, I dont know anyone that only carries stress on
one side of their body! I MUST be special!!

Great Crime, that seems weird that it switched! Someone told me, I think they call it Raca?, strange things I have heard and come across through all this, i know, but some of it makes you wonder! We surely dont know all the ins and outs of our bodies, energectic issues, etc...
anyway, they said right is best as energy flows OUT from right side. If their theory is correct you must be getting better!!
have you noticed changes/improvement since it going to the right???
Just curious...

Left side weak and unbalanced, worst eye/face twitches & knee, right side's got the pain in the neck, ears, etc.! Very striking, very consistent, has always been that way since beginning of illness.

Does anyone know WHY so many of us seem to have one side that is so much worse than the other? It seems to obviously be the case for many of us, but wondered if there is a medical reason.

Started on left and was predominantly that side for a long time (think I may even have posted or answered a question about this a a while back!). To a lesser degree than at other points in my illness it's still true, though as time has passed I get a lot of more 'explainable' right side pain. I assume this is because that's the one I use the most as I'm VERY right-handed.
