I had a high B12. I forget how high though. I had this, too...
"Iron stores are decreased or absent because of the increased red blood cell mass, and macrophages may be masked in the myeloid hyperplasia that is present."
I avoid iron now though - my iron levels are still good somehow.

I had a high B12 blood serum test, and I was told by doc that it wasn't an indication of what was in my brain, and could be an indication of low B12.
I started taking B12 shots, and their one of the few expensive things I wouldn't be without. My sleep and thinking are so much better.

Here's what I pulled from my records:
B12 - 1044 H (211 - 911)
Equivocal anti-striatal muscle antibodies (Isn't the heart a striatal muscle?)
CD4/CD8 ratio - 65.3 H (30.8-58.5)
Monocytes - 3 L (4-13)
"Benign fast heart rate"
Gastrin - 292 H
Carotene - 8 L (10-85)
Vitamin D 25-Hydrox 27.6 L (32-100) - (I get sick if I take vitamin D, but my calcium levels are always high end - it might be my liver, too)
Hyperkeratosis of the esophagus.
Questionable flattening of duodenum, but probably not.
Abnormal granular liver (no cause found).
2mm liver lesion (called it normal).
Aortic sclerosis (called it normal - I thought it said mild, it doesn't though). One metoprolol though almost stopped my heart.
Enlarged inguinal lymph nodes (no cause found).
RDW - 11.3 L (11.5 - 17.9)
Segs - 62 H (30-60)
Chloride - 100 L (101 - 111)
I don't know what some of this means. I have a stack of records a foot high. There's no way I'm dropping all of them off. I can't believe this. Dr. S has not sent ANY of my records yet. I'm wondering if he's messing with me. I can't deal with this anymore.
I'm supposed to drop records off at a hematologist. They won't schedule me unless I drop off records.

I don't even know how accurate my recent tests would be - I avoid iron, so I'm sure that would alter the results some. Spirulina is high in B12 - I have trouble with that one now.
Is a hematologist the right doctor to see? I don't trust any of them anymore - not a single one.
