Hello-

I found a great Korean sauna in NJ.

I read on this board that heat can kill Lyme so this place may be really useful to some of you living in this area.

It's very traditional Korean - it feels like you have left the country & went to Korea.

They have 5 or 6 different kinds of saunas plus hot tubs, steam rooms, massage, etc.

Some of the saunas have 23 karat gold, salt, herbs, & far infra red.

It's reasonably priced.

Yes, it is extremely clean. I've been there 3 times so far. The place

is very Korean & many people there do not speak English or only

very little. I've never been to Japan but I imagine it's very similar to

what I've seen of a Japanese bathhouse. The saunas are really

something else, though. They are more like going into kilns than

the Swedish style wooden ones. You can print out a discount

coupon on the website so the admission is only $18. Massage

treatments are extra.

There is another one in Flushing Queens if that is more

convenient to some of you.

I think there are only a couple of saunas like this in the whole

country.

I haven't been to the one in Queens, though.

I think it may be worth the trip from CT if it's at all possible.

Even if it's once a month. My doctor is in CT & we used to drive

up there once a week. It's not too bad a drive.
