I've noticed I get red eyes quite often. Not an extremely lot, but I just thought it was odd especially since when it does happen it'll usually be that way upon waking and stay red all day.
Does anyone else notice this at all or is it just something not lyme + co-infection related whatsoever?

Try using "Soothe" eye drops, as it works quite well. I've been using it for quite some time as I also have red eyes/dry eyes.
It is OTC...no Rx needed.

My local opthalmologist who sess a lot of us in Aptos says all his Lymie patients have dry DRY eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a fairly new eye doctor and guess what? She knows lyme disease from Wisconsin. Her mother, father, brother and even the doc has/have it.
Red eye, vision changes, dry eye and all where explained to me when I coincidently made an appt with her. My vision was changing sometimes as much as three times a year. The other docs I had have just changed my script for lenses and looked for eye diseases.
She explained that just like the rest of my body that has inflammation, so do my eyes. I would have flare ups in my eyes. She treated me last Dec with steriods and abx drops in the eye for 3 mths and I haven't had a flare up since.

My husband has a huge problem with this; he has been asked by workplaces if he is using drugs. He is diagnosed with Rosacea of the eyes, but our LLMD also said it is clearly a symptom of coinfections. He has Babs and Bart.

I was told that I had this by my eye doctor, as my eyes were constantly bloodshot and stingy. I thought "yeah, right. I couldn't have pink eye for months!" Of course this was before I realized that I had a sleeping beast in me. The conjuntivitis that Lyme causes is diffent than your typical conjunctivitis, as there is often the absence of puss or fluid coming from the tear duct.
