Hello everyone, I have been doing pretty well

since my picc was removed last Fall. Dr. J said

I needed more but you know the good insurance

people had stopped paying way before that. I

could not afford anymore so I took my chances.

I have had some symptoms since about the end of

last week. I have the bursts of nerve pain that

feels like a bee sting all over. I have burning

on the tops of my feet and in my hands. Joint

pain is severe all over again. I have an

appointment in a week but what should I start

taking until then? I can't remember if this is

babs. or lyme. I have some meds left. Thanks

guys guess I am in for my life of h**l all over again.

Thank you all for the advice
mimi

Just to be sure: you are not eating anything with aspartame or msg, are you? check cough-drops and toothpastes, too.

Any new carpeting or other chemical exposures (new carpet, flooring, etc.?)

If you are using a gas stove, be sure to turn on exhaust fan prior to igniting the flame.

I'm sorry that I can't go further w/ any help, but hope someone comes along soon with some helpful suggestions.

Alpha-Lipioc Acid (ALA) has some reports of helping.

Or bartonella, bart can cause that as well. It loves to cause burning of the hands and feet.

I have used peppermint oil for burning with SOME success. The oil itself can tend to burn, but its a different feeling altogether.

I would not take medications without a doctors advice. If you have something for pain that you have been prescribed previously, that's one thing.

But I don't think it's a good idea to start antibiotics for a week. If you take an antibiotic for a short period of time then you could just be building a resistance to it. A week isn't that long when it comes to chronic Lyme taking route.

It would be different if you were just bitten, then time would be of the essence.

Well HELLO Mimi. I don't believe I've seen you here for awhile??? Reading your post I kept thinking bart too. Sometimes one goes into hiding and then the other guy comes along. Maybe it is bart's turn?

Do you still have your rife machine? Am I remembering correctly that you had the same model I do?
