Without noticing my doc ahs prescribed alinia for me. Been having problems in the rectal area with prostatitis and lyme. Am having odd sensations though as if tingling in these areas. Does this help the lyme also? I am taking the levaquin for the prostatitis now?

I'm on Alinia again for the second time. First time around I did 1000mg bid for 20 days for babesia.

After the 20 days were done I felt that it had made a difference in some of my symptoms (air hunger, lungs and dizzyness/disequalibrium).

So I'm back on Alinia 500mg bid. Was not able to tolerate 1000mg bid due to diarrhea and stomach cramping.

My air hungers remains better, and dizzyness and disequalibrium comes and goes.

LLMD wants me on it for 2 months.

What is your LLMD treating for with the Alinia?

It's pricey so hopefully you have insurance coverage that will pay for it.

Hopefully it helps you.
