i'm not taking abx, so my response to treatment might be different from most here.
but, every morning i take my lyme/babesia remedy. almost exactly 20-30 minutes later, i herx. (i've been taking lots of toxin binders so the herx is bearable now, but it still happens.) then, two or three hours after that, the reaction passes and i'm back to 'normal.' it's like clockwork.
anyone else have this type of reaction? especially herbal users?
just curious. it seems a little bizarre to me, but i guess that's how my body has decided to deal with this particular remedy and/or killing lyme & babesia in general.

Have you tried not taking them for once to see if the reaction doesn't happen?
If it still happens without takeing them, then you must be in some kinda of weird pattern. I amd many go through patterns with this disease each day.

yeah, the reaction only happens when i take the remedy. it's also lessened (though not eradicated) by using chlorella and other toxin binders, so i know it's some sort of herx reaction.

Hubby has this response to any med or herb that seems to be working for him.
For meds I always research and his response is usually consistent to whatever the time is to the peak dose of the drug. He usually starts feeling better after the half life of that drug is past.
And yes, if he stays on the drug or med the reaction becomes less over time.

What kind of remedy are you taking.
What you described is common type of response pattern to homeopathics.
With a mild dose of a homeopathic remedy, like a 30x, people often experience a reaction within 15 to 20 minutes, that passes in 15 to 20 minutes.
I'm taking a homeopathic series treatment every three days. I herx for most of the day the same day I take it, then the reaction eases up.

thanks for the responses everyone.
bejoy, i'm taking an ozonated rizol (gamma oil, to be specific). can't find the link to it right now, but it has artemisia and clove and other ingredients. it's super strong and even one tiny drop packs a huge punch.

Heather, I guess I explained that to you in the PM. It's EXACTLY what I experienced for months and months of treatment, and I still do (I'm battling still fungi). It's clockwork.
That's the ONLY reason I can differentiate between what is a herx and what is "something else" (pathogen, damage to an organ, etc). At least, I'm sure I got a herx when I get my symptoms cleared after chorella, msm or whatever right cleanser I took.
It happened to me many times a day, almost every single day, in the last year and a half, that's why I became a chlorella freak.
Great to see it's working for you! It made my days while killing babesia bearable to live! And fungi too, my worst herxes!

Using natural LD remedies don't pack the punch or the killing power of abx.

lymebytes, my post is not intended to start an abx vs. herbal discussion or argument. treatment decisions are personal, and i'm not looking for mine (or anyone else's, for that matter) to be questioned. there are many people who have healed serious chronic lyme infections without abx, or with very minimal abx; selma, who posted above you, is one.
i may add in abx later; not yet sure. right now my LLMD is perfectly content with my protocol, and trust me, it is STRONG. i herx to the moon & back, unless i take toxin binders to help mitigate herx reactions. i still herx with the binders, but it's more tolerable.

What brand and how much chlorella do you take as a toxin binder?
Thanks, CherylSue
