I need someone to help find me a good reputable lab that tests for leptospirosis. Lepto is related to Lyme and can cause a grave illness. Since standard labs fail to have adequate tests for borrelia, I presume that the same is for lepto and I need some assistance

CL i once was obsessed with chroic leptospirosis hypothesis. At present I consider it's chances highlly unprobable.
Google "chronic leptospirosis" for a start, I remember I did that. There's most probably no such manifestation in humans.
Even if it does exist what it changes in terms of treatment scheme for lyme. Adding aminoglycosides to the combo? They are rather hard to get as are reserved for bioweapon MRSAa etc.

Well, we know that chronic lyme doesn't exist. Also, for years it was thought that relapsing fever was not chronic and they recently discovered that the brain can harbor the infection in a dormant state.
Persistent human leptospirosis - professional guide A great number of the email queries received by the LIC concern the symptoms of persistent human leptospirosis (PHL) - the condition is more common than generally accepted and we are receiving reports each year of new manifestations.
When the acute phase of infection has run its course, patients continue to report physical and psychological symptoms in at least 20% of all infections. These long-term effects can run for several years and are often not correctly identified and treated by medical professionals. Indeed, if the acute phase has been missed, physicians can encounter the patient within the PHL phase and correct diagnosis is bordering on the miraculous. In general the timescale is around two to six years, with a gradual improvement over that time but in a non-linear form. Some patients report almost permanent symptoms but these are often caused by sequelae from the acute infection, combined with age-related effects.
Also this 1: Zentralbl Bakteriol Mikrobiol Hyg [A]. 1984 Sep;257(4):531-4.Links May human leptospirosis develop as a chronic infection?Nicolescu M, Andreescu N. In connection with some rather uncommon cases, the authors asked themselves whether leptospirosis may also develop as a chronic infection. To answer this question, we took into consideration four of the most representative investigated cases encountered during the last 22 years. In conclusion, it appears that in some circumstances, human leptospirosis could present itself as a chronic disease.

I didn't do a thorough search so maybe I would be convinced that it doesn't exist but I think there is some doubt about that.

Well, if a person demonstrates antibodies and experiences symptoms described in the link - then 3-4 Gentamycin injections might really be a interesting option.
The only black-market spot one could get gm in the US was some portugese pharmacy website (situation a year ago).
As for the AB test http://www.aruplab.com does them if i'm correct ? They need a doctor referral though so I believe itneed to be an open-minded LLMD -- to prscribe one without classical leptospira signs. (+The price of the visit).

It can cause OCD, huh?
Cipro isn't doing anything for me so far. Does it like to live in the lower jaw around the one tooth that came in crooked when I was like 7 and developed OCD?
