I think I would fall over dead if I saw a tapeworm come out of me, which would completely negate the benefit of taking it.

Yeah, I was a little shocked, to say the least! I would be nauseous each time I saw a piece.

Personally, I think I can handle a worm sightning, but I think my husband will be in therapy if something like that happens to him. lol
I will have to report back in a week.

I was pretty ill the entire day I say my flukes but then you sort of get used to the idea of these yucky things in your body. You just want them OUT. (again I say ewwwwwwwww)
My husband was doing the Humaworm with me just to humor me but he was pretty impressed with my flukes.
Ticks don't necessarily transmit all of our parasites - we get them from tap water, walking in the grass barefoot, improperly cooked food, etc. Parasite cleansing, I think, should be a part of our Lyme Protocol to help our bodies become less toxic and overall better "Lyme Fighting Machines".
It can rid people of some pretty nasty conditions and sypmtoms like allergies, exema, IBS and more.
Sometimes I wish I didn't know all this but now that I do I feel like I have to do something about it.

I started Humaworm but had to stop after 3 or 4 days. It made my digestive tract very sluggish.
If I restart I'll probably open up the pills into a tall glass of water and drink it down. I believe it's easier on the stomach that way (that goes for any herb).

I took it for a month this fall. It was a good decision overall. I never "saw" anything, but I was also having a colonic once per week during that time.
I found it hard to get the pills down. They are very large and they seem to want to float. I ended up coating them in coconut oil and pushing them to the back of my throat and swallowing. Then warm water until I felt it go down. Then the second pill.
I felt pretty yucky the first 2 weeks, but getting the colonics helped. I felt like it blocked me up a bit and that is probably why I felt yucky.
By the end of the month, I was feeling pretty good. My gut has been happier since and I'm on Zith and Flagyl and bicillin shots. I still take my probiotics and especially the Sacchromyces B. I think it targeted some yeast that I had in my gut....

For those of you who go to Dr H - I think a couple of you do, like me - does he recommend the Humaworm? He's never mentioned it to me, yet. Perhaps it's something new he's doing? Is it? Please PM me if you don't want to answer here.

DLL, nope, he didn't recommend it to me. When I was talking to the PA today, she hadn't ever heard of it.
I had been taking several herbs for a bacterial problem in my intestines that they had tested for .... the Humaworm website said it killed those bacteria, so I tried it .... instead of several separate herbs, it was from one source, it was easier and cheaper.
She was very supportive of it because I had seen so many benefits from it, but she had never heard of it.

I'm on day 14, and so far so good. I've noticed no obvious signs of anything other than some things which look like rice (I don't eat rice, lol). I had some herx-like symptoms the first few days, but overall have felt pretty good while taking it. My neck has been stiffer and sorer, but I'm not positive it's related...could be moving the little critters around I suppose.

Also for the others - I did have a little constipation during Humaworm (so did my sister). Nothing terrible, but I did take herbal stuff to keep myself going.

Yes, very similar. I've not seen a "whole" one...I usually just see part of it...I haven't tried to isolate one to see it fully, lol. I usually have lots of them throughout the stool though.

Reviving this thread because I am on day 5 of Humaworm... and am a believer. It is a nice collection of herbs.
Had some herx like symptoms the first day, and at least this has taken care of my residual yeast infection. After a lifetime of adventure travel and adventure eating, I thought I should try this. So far it is having a good effect.

6Kids -- thanks! It does seem to be doing some good...Other than feeling very tired today after a long walk, I have been feeling pretty good.
Actually, I am a bit afraid of the possibility of having the same experience that you did -- the tapeworm!
Tracy, great, we have a Humaworm buddy! Glad you are on the same schedule, please keep me posted and I wish you great success and good health with this. I looked up all the herbs in humaworm and it seems to be a pretty beneficial mix.
I also had some mild nausea and very mild heartburn the first couple of days. Ate some ginger and that took care of it.
The truth is, yesterday I did see some funky stuff referred to above in this thread -- the things that look like white rice. That has more than given me motivation to continue with the month of humaworm...

I'm somewhere around day 15 on my second round of humaworm. Last round I passed a rather gargantuan ascaris worm.
In the past I've also passed liver flukes and tapeworm segments.
One interesting thing I notice on Humaworm is that both times on it I seem to have had Bartonella herxing.
For the past few days I've had some pretty bad die-off in my head (ick) but am drinking lots of water which is helping a LOT.
I've done several kinds of parasite cleansing but I really think Humaworm is the best.

Wow to the Bart herx comment; I am laying in bed today with my feet and legs just stinging and burning and aching; no idea why.
i just tested negative for Bart but this sure sounds like what people describe. I have never felt like this before except when I moved and was on my feet for like 19 hours straight. I've been herxing for about ten days from a med change, so I certainly haven't been on my feet at all!!!
As far as passing stuff; well frankly I'm afraid to look.

Cass, I can't even buy prunes, I love them and will eat the whole bag! LOL
Interesting about the bart .... I started bart treatment just a couple weeks before Humaworm and I herxed the first six weeks or so of bart treatment.
The Humaworm made me "fluish" the first couple days. The rest I had attributed to the Levaquin, but perhaps the Humaworm was a player, too. I guess I'll find out next round, which I plan on doing in couple more months (Humaworm says to wait 90 days).

Chugging along on the Humaworm--about 10 days into it now.
Nothing spectacular. Some constipation. Am up to prunes every meal, and not much is changing even so!! MOOORRREE PRUNES, PLEEAASE!!
I did get a persisting pain under the ribs on my left side, but that feels like a pinched nerve in my spine. Going to the chiro tomorrow for that. Can't sneeze now--too painful! I thought this might be related to the Humaworm, but now I think it's spinal. My chiro does lots of alternative stuff, so I'll ask her....
Nothing else strange or new here--maybe a bit more alert when I'm up.
More later.
Best,

Good morning Humaworm buddies. Hope everyone is well and enjoying the weekend.
This stuff is undeniably effective, in my case! I am ready to add my testimonial to their site.
That's all I am going to say, do not want to gross folks out. Usually I am afraid to look cause I am afraid that something like Alien is going to be there. But I am getting the expected flora and fauna.
Have a nice day!

Dear Humaworm buds,
Well, the trip to the chiro totally fixed the pain in my chest. I had a rib out of place. My chiro did some muscle testing also, and told me to raise my Niacin supplement, which I've done. I definitely felt better all day after she fixed it!
Finally burst through the constipation barrier today, and am actually feeling preeety good. Having a productive day--something I've been longing for.
Well, 3 PRUNES are still on the menu for every meal (usually two in the evening will do it, and needed rarely).
No "alien sightings" today....
Best,
Cass A

Yes - you can also call them and pay by phone.
I have 3 more days left of my Humaworm and I can't wait for these die-off headaches to subside. I've felt some squirming and biting in my gut too, hope those are death throes!
Drinking lots of water has helped a LOT. I've been drinking 3 quarts of water a day and even though I'md oing the extra strength, my die off has been much much less than the first round.

Hi Tracy,
Congrats, you might be one of the seemingly few of us without visible parasites!! Certainly does not sound like you are doing anything wrong. The humaworm website also mentions that there are microscopic parasites (like candida, if that is called a parasite) too.
Believe me, though I am not surprised, it is more than a little yucky to see evidence that I had/have (can barely write this) -- worms....! I hate to admit it, but it seems true. It should be no surprise, because I have done lots of adventurous if not downright risky eating and travel in my life, in this country and in others. So I am glad to have found this product, it does seem to help get rid of, um, freeriders.
Am in my second week of humaworm; I'm keeping some of it in the fridge too, the rest at room temp.

I believe most of the parasites are not visible. Though it's more dramatic to see worms, you are most likely still having just as effective results.

Hello Humaworm buds,
Hope everyone is well. Savebabe, I hope your GI issues are resolved!
My update for the brave and non-squeamish:
I am on my last two days of Humaworm. I think this has been a very good supplement for me. Although I also made other medication adjustments this month -- primarily ramping up on minocycline, from 50mg/day to almost 100mg/day -- I have been feeling better this month!
I think the Humaworm had something to do with feeling better. Kinda horrible to admit, but during the first two weeks of taking humaworm, I did see those worm eggs/white rice stuff on several occasions. It looked just like the picture whose link is posted on page 1 of this thread and the humaworm site....and given my lifetime of global travel and adventure cuisine, I guess I really had parasites!
Still do not understand though why I would see eggs but not the adult form, though I am glad for that! Otherwise, no drama.
I would do this Humaworm month again in the future. Seems to help knock out the candida too, probably because of all that garlic and Pau D'arco.
Between whatever the Humaworm herbs took care of, and the lyme and babesia, it seems my body has been the host of a thriving ecosystem for the past few years...I gotta start charging rent! I DO feel better with all the free riders moving out!

I took Humaworm right along with my abx.
My LLMD was so impressed at my improvement that he wrote down the website to check it out. He didn't seem to think my improvement was from Levaquin alone. He thinks my body is really wanting detox, so we're focusing on that right now. I've cut my meds WAY back.
I plan on doing Humaworm again after my 90 days off .... I figure I had such a bad infection, a second treatment is a good idea.
The white rice stuff can be parts of a type of tapeworm that breaks into small pieces.
I did not do the colon cleanse.
