I read that if you're on Mepron, Milk Thistle should not be taken.
Are there any other forbidden herbs while on Mepron? I have the following herbs.
Cat's Claw Japanese Knotweed Sarsaparilla (Smilax) Houttuynia

My understanding is that milk thistle speeds up clearance from the liver, possibly reducing overall residence time, and therefore potency, of mepron. I'm not sure that there's an overall prohibition against taking milkthistle, or whether you should just take it as far apart from the mepron dose as possible.
You can check other interactions at this site:
Drug Digest on the top, horizontal bar you'll see a button that says "check interactions". But it's not comprehensive.
You can also go to Rxlist.com and look up Mepron.
Usually I'd say check with a pharmacist, but I've never found one who was knowledgable about herb/drug interactions except when the herb was very main stream.
Also be sure mepron does not have an interaction with other drugs you're taking.

Milk thistle should not be taken in LARGE Dosages with mepron. But many LLMDs recommends taking some milk thistle with mepron (at least 3 hours apart), as mepron is a fairly toxic drug.
Also don't take CoQ10 with mepron.
