We'll at close to $500 a 2 week supply, just wondering what some of you do?
Is there a place I can order this cheaper? My insurance doesn't even cover this stuff.

CostCo is suppsoed to be cheap for Mepron- but I've heard Canada too-
too bad your local support gorup doesn't recycle medications! IF ONLY that was legal! Then you could just go to your local support group and ask if anyone had any extra Mepron!!! One day I hope that would be legal!!!
Once we imaginarily collected extra bottles of Mepron and had FIVE unopened bottles that of course, were just thrown away instead of given to a needy support group member. Sometimes people fill their prescriptions early but by the time they are supposed to go on something they are all better- so they just have these bottles of mepron lying around and they end up getting THROWN away!!! Tragic, seriously.
SO if only it were legal I would tell you to go ask your local support people if they know of any extra bottles!!! Too bad it's not legal-
Sincerely, Sarah

In my search for affordable Mepron, the best price I could find is from canadadrugs.com It's $547 for a 210 ml bottle (3 wk. supply).
You have to be careful with online pharmacies. There's a lot of fraud and some are not what they seem. This particular pharmacy happens to be on the state of Wisconsin's safe list.
Sadly, I still can't swing that price...so I'm waiting. It's due to go off patent Aug 15, 2009.
According to my LLMD, a good alternative to mepron (if you don't have c. diff problems) is a combination of clindamycin and quinine. Both are generic and cheap! You may want to look into it!
