Lyme Disease show "Mystery ER" will air on TV January 28, 2008 at 8:00 pm and 11:00 pm Eastern Time on the Discovery Health Channel Episode titled "Bittersweet" watch the 2nd half hour for the Lyme segment.
the listing looks like this
The pain in Alice's legs and back is unbearable. Doctors find nothing and suspect she's neurotic. When her son and neighbors begin to experience similar symptoms, the doctors are baffled. But the cause is not an epidemic, it's a vindictive boyfriend.
But that only explains the first 1/2 hour! It's the second half hour that is the Lyme show!

Vindictive boyfriend! No!! I listed the summary of the episode that is the FIRST half hour, not the Lyme episode, that is just how it appears in the listings.
Watch the SECOND half hour of "Bittersweet" PAST the vindictive boyfriend thallium poisoning episode. LOL

OK - Last night's mysteries were:
Accute Intermittent Porphyria, which can de Dxd by urine sample set left in direct sunlight turning PURPLE. At one point the ducks were trying to put him on antidepressants.
Recurring bacterial meningitis (3x), due to a microscopic crack in the skull caused by a minor head injury from a sledding accident (child crashed into a tree at slow speed).
PLEASE bring this up again on the 28th!!! Thanks! Now I have to go wash this egg off my face.

it's nice you can watch TV on lyme related topics Unlike in the US they closed "www.tick.ru" site and this domain is for sale now. Sucks! There was a whole bunch of good information abot lyme&company and the required treatment.

Wow WC,
That was some show! To sick to eat popcorn but I recorded it!
You went thru absolute hell. It's a real miracle that you're still alive to share your experiences with all of us here at Lymenet.
Was so touched to see a happy ending for you.
You are definitely one tough cookie!

OMG, YOU POOR BABY!!!!!
What a nightmare you've been through.
I am so glad that you were able to get some answers when you did and so glad that your struggle has been shared.
I am sure that anyone who has had to endure the agony of not being able to find out what was causing their illness will be deeply touched by this show.
I'm glad that I finally got to watch it. I cried to think of how horribly frightened and frustrated you must have been. I am so glad that you are no longer in that living hell!
Thanks so much for sharing your story and thank you for having the strength to endure so that your story could be told.
YOU HAVE TO WATCH THIS PEOPLE!!!!!!! It was worth all my head-banging efforts and extra work to finally get to see it.
Thanks to a buddy, I set the timer on my oven in the morning for 8-9 hours (?) and fortunately I remembered why I had set it. Tree, you might want to try that, it was really helpful.
