I always take generics if doc says they are as good. For years I used name brand Synthroid and then when the generic came out, pharmacy filled script with generic.
I asked alot of questions and they said if it doesn't work like synthroid for me, insurance would allow me to go back on name brand.
My body never knew the difference. Now the price of the generic thyroid is slowly creeping up in cost every few months. The drug market is unbelievable.
