Okay...I am stopping treatment this week as per my LLMD. I am symptom free and I have been for a while.

Are there any suggestions (natural not ABX) for me? I really am back completely to myself. So, I want to stay that way.

I eat well and exercise. My weight is good. My bloodwork is all back to normal.

Any Suggestions?

Lily

So good to hear you are better! [woohoo]

If I were well I would still try to get enough sleep/rest and avoid stress as much as possible.

Basically I would try not to do extra things to tax my immune system.

If you wanted to take something to boost your immune system I would ask your llmd what he reccomends.

Best wishes [Smile]

Congratulations!!

I would eat right, exercise, and get plenty of rest. I would avoid stress (that's my trigger for symptoms).

I plan on taking Cowden herbs for 6 months to a year after abx treatment, then my LLMD will have me take supplements to build my immune system (as I am now during treatment).

That's great news! I'm curious how long you were sick before you were diagnosed and how long you were on abx. I'm wondering if there is any hope for me......

Yea!! Lily!!!

In Stephen Buhner's book "Healing Lyme" he does give a protocol for prevention. Chapter 6 talks about Astragalus, homeopathic borrelia nosode, Apis and Ledum.

I too love to hear success stories.

God bless you, I have been on abx for 4 years and are still not symptom free. I still have lots of fibro like pain and fatigue.

The only thing I take now is Flagyl.

Im what they call a "chronic."

My only hope is a miracle

Lily, you are an inspiration. My naturpath doctor (I also have our Dr. C) has me taking cumanda and burbur, and wants me to add samento. She said that I would be on them 6-12 months after I feel better, just as assurance. Derek Clontz, wife of Susan Ambrosino's myherbs says to take 3-4 drops daily of samento for life as a tonic.

I purchase my Nutramedix products cheaper at Renewal Enterprises online. The Green Pharmacy and Susan Ambrosino's Myherbs online also sell them cheaper than Nutramedix.

Best wishes.

Hi Lily,

I just quite ABX one day because my LLMD wanted me to do intramuscular pen in order to break the blood brain barrier with Lyme MS.

I just quit. My ins would not support it. This was a year ago. I have a few small symptoms that actually never went away.

1. Rarely internal vibration...used to happen nightly.

2. Slight intention tremor

3. BL hand paresthesias.

I have just learned to live with them.

BUT NOW....

things seem to be coming back. L hand numbness, left torso palsy.

I, for the first time, had blurred vision in the R eye.

BUT found that after taking HPB medication, Lisinopril, went away.

So... who knows.

and sadly... I think that we will always have Lyme. Just as those who get MRSA will always have it in their bodies.

I believe that we can control a virus but I do not believe it will ever die.

You guys are awesome!

Congrats! I am sure that feels wonderful!

I started the Cowden protocol about 2 months before I stopped abx and am now on month 3 and have been off abx for about a month. I feel good.

I plan on finishing off the last 3 months of Cowden and am hopeful that is it.

Good luck!
