Hi Guys. I've been hanging around since 2000 and have just received the news that I again have active lyme both by CDC (Western Blot) and by DNA. Igenix did the testing. This is the third go around for me and I am feeling pretty low. I had breast cancer in 2006 and was hoping that chemo would help and maybe it did for a short period but not permanently. I was at a doctor doing his protocol for 2 1/2 years and I had a 6 month remission. I was at a doctor with his protocol for a little over a year and had to stop because of the cancer and had a year and 1/2 of remission. Now here I am - back where I started. Any words of wisdom? I sure could use some. I've tried all you've mentioned here and have mixed reviews for all. All I know is that it is hard to get rid of and I'm tired of trying.
Good to see some familiar names here too. I hope to talk to you some more as things progress. I do appreciate this board, it has helped me tremendously.
Thank You

best of luck to you.
there is a wealth of info on LN, as im sure you already know.
please let us all know how we can help you.
and i agree w cave, abx, unfortunately, are always a good place to start.
from there you can build your px, and hopefully, with immune modulation, regain the upper hand.
cheers
derek

I'm sorry we all have to suffer through this & especially going through cancer...
I'm not trying to be rude or difficult - but why do people always resort to abx as a first measure when they are ill from Lyme, when they didn't work in the first place?
Like I said - I mean everyone the greatest respect. I'm just trying to understand this.
Have you tried any of the other protocols? I've heard that the Dr. Zhang protocol is pretty good.
All the best to everyone out there!

I have been getting better with roxy and bactrim..and ambien to sleep. And all the common suppliments. Have you ever tried these? What about HBOT. Maybe you should take deep sea diving as a hobby. Or even buy a portable or rent a HBOT and use it at your home ALL the time. I hear if you use it enough it will absolutely kill the entire disease. In fact..I am going to see how much one runs.. My llmd has a small one ...its like a plastic tube you craw into..dont look to exp...but who knows. Maybe you can rent one. Oh, and what about micro treatments? That might work. Did you use rife? I wrapped a separated extension cord around my head and I felt a herx like headache for almost a full day from just an hour watching TV. (what that would do in theroy is open my BBB to the abx) But roxy crosses so if you take that...no worry about that. If your that sick and desperate...buy a tiny hbot and use it daily....you will get rid of this for sure that way...

Hi Hagen,
Sorry you are back with lyme.
I don't recall your name or your protocols. Can you give us some specific treatment background? Your experience is helpful to the rest of us.
Have you done only abx, only alternative or a combo of both? How are your dietary habits?
I'm thinking you might have a very low functioning immune system that can't maintain control of your body. Therefore, treatment works for you but the body can't sustain the improved status.
What things have you done to heal the body? Remember, abx kill but they don't heal. So, building up the body while killing the bacteria is equally important.
Can you share with us more of your treatment protocols?
Your experience is valuable.
