Anyone have a problem with herxing, here is mine.

I will herx really hard and then after the herx is overwith I will feel a little better. (Like your suppose to)

Then, after I have that little sign of feeling better, I go right back to feeling like i did to start off.

What is the cause of this? Why do I fall back down...

- these are just off the top of the head thoughts from a fellow lyme patient

when I start new med my herx time can far out weigh my nonherx time...

also is it possible that if you feel a little bit you over do it. Overexertion makes me sicker every time.. and the longer period I do it the longer it takes to "rebound" from it.

Byron, I just would like to tell you a message from Jimbob. He can't answer your PM. Sorry for my delay in telling you that. He wrote me before Xmas but I went on vacations. Lymenet administratos cut his ability to answer any PMs since he was banned. If you want to talk to him, you got to get through Yahoo Buhner's forum. He's there!

As for toxins, I was NEVER going to improve without a complete cleansing protocol. I spent more money and ingested MANY more cleansers than anything that killed, for sure.

In the course of treatment, I learned how to herx less and less, or at least, for shorter periods. Sometimes, that involved taking cleansers about 10-12 times a day (no exageration).

I believe I'm again on remission, but who knows. I'm still on one astragalus and one cats claw pill once a day, just in case, symptom free again for about a month.

Good luck in finding answers!
Selma

Byron, you could search my posts. I didn't do everything like colonics, liver flushes though. I mostly took things (ingested) and they worked.

By order of importance what helped me most is chlorella vulgaris in loads, milk thistle/ artichoke/ bear garlic tincture (to protect organs: liver - pancreas - kidneys), MSM in powder/ pills, metal detoxing supps, liquid enzymes, electrolytes, minerals, and very important in times of trouble were manual lymphatic drainage (massage).

I took other things like Chitosan, cardamon powder, Sencha (Japanese tea), zeolites/ destroxin in specific moments. Also alpha lipoic acid, mucuna bean powder (intestines) and quite a few herbs that help cleansing.

I rubbed a lot of Farah's essential oils on liver, skalp and on lymphatic nodes when I got desperate too. Rubbing other essential oils helped too, and of course, cilantro tincture on liver/ pancreas in times of pain in these organs.

I'm sure there were more, but I can't remember them all.

the most constant suppplements for me (taken long term) were chlorella, Omega 3 oils/ flaxseed oils, magnesium, vit D, milk thistle, artichoke, bear garlic.

The problem is that cleansers do vary during herxes, but these above were the most constant in my experience. In times of big trouble, I relied on manual lymph drainage, Farah's oils or other essential oils, plus of course, chlorella in loads.

Some people get good results with colonics.

Selma
