I've had three CD57 tests done. The first time I had it done with my WB it came back as 18. A few months later it was 20 (which isn't really a difference), and then just this last time I had it, it was ONLY 9!

I know that the CD57 isn't very telling of how a person is doing, etc., but it was just really depressing anyway to see that decrease!

My LLMD said it wasn't a very big decrease and not to worry about it, but to me, 20 to 9 is huge!

It's crazy too because I had the blood taken for that test smack dab in the middle of a 20-day stretch of feeling 'good'.

Now, I've gone back to feeling blah. Just hoping and waiting for another 20-day or LONGER stretch again.

Anyone ever have their CD57 high and then decrease by a LOT? I'm afraid my CD57 will never get back up to where it needs to be. 9 is so far off.

I don't mean to sound really ignorant, but what is a CD57 test?

Renny - Some explanationhere.

There's also other sites/people who don't think it's very significant with Lyme or the number indicating how well a person's doing -- like here.
