I've never done either but I've seen HBO do wonders for some people, a subset of people who try it. It can be a great therapeutic option.

I've known a few folks who had trouble with their eyes with HBO, although it subsided after a few months.

Rife can also cause herx, so slow is best. The unit I have no more than every 12 day. Metals detox must be addressed prior to or during Rife (oral works for me with DMSA).

Rife is considerably less expensive that HBO.

Hello;

My wife endured 1 month of hospital grade hyperbaric oxygen, simulataneously with I.V. Rocephin, in March of 2006. (She was initially infected while 8 months pregnant in March 2003 with Borrelia, Babesia, Bartonella, Erlichia, and Mycoplasma.) Our 5 year old son tests positive for Borrelia but is in full remission at the moment.

The HBOT cost roughly $10,000.00 dollars not covered by insurance. I am working two jobs and am still paying off the loan today.

After the month long HBOT sessions she had two weeks of the very best health - she felt almost cured! Home cooked meals every night, clean house, normal family life, we had the greatest hope yet for her full recovery.

Her health quickly deteriorated thereafter.
We tried to follow up with monthly HBOT sessions to maintain the health improvements, but we were not able to regain the level of health that she experienced during those the first two weeks.

Now two years later my poor wife is suffering severe nero symptoms.

Our family pruchased a GB-4000 Rife machine and have been using it for several months now without anitibiotics.

We are now making major strides again the Borrelia. The Rife machine has been much maligned on the internet but it works!!!!!!! The Rife causes strong herxheimer like reactions each and every time that it is used. The Rife machine works then and there - no waiting around to see if it works.

The problem has become how to manage the herxheimer reactions and to effectively deal with the toxicity from the bacteria die-off.

The Rife does not work against the cystic form of Borrelia. For that my wife has recently started on Biaxin combined with Plaquenil, and already we are seeing major herxheimer results along that war front.

She is cured of Babesia thanks to 8 month of Mepron/Zithromax.
She is cured of Mycoplasma again thanks to 8 months of Zithromax.
She is cured of Bartonella thanks to 2.5 months of Levaquin.
She is cured of Erlichia thanks to Doxcycline.

We are now battling nero Borrelia and are near winning!

To be fair to the HBOT, it did supress the Borrelia temporarily but it also encouraged the Bartonella. Bartonella lives and thrives in the blood stream. Consequently, blood that is enriched with HBOT oxygen will only enhance the Bartonella's life cycle.

Later on we utilized Levaquin, also much maligned on the internet, to wipe out the Bartonella for good.

Lessons learned: before using HBOT make sure any blood thriving pathogens such as Babesia and / or Bartonella are dead. Otherwise, the HBOT will suppress the Borrelia but intensify the co-infection symptoms and you will not be better off overall.

We wish that we had known about Rife so many years ago!!!!!!

Godspeed.

Any concern about radiation with the rife machine? I've heard people say it kills good cells with the bad, like radiation can do.

Also, How do you know when you've cleared the blood of Bartonella or Babesia, since blood tests are so unreliable? I've never been told by my LLMD that I have a co-infection, merely by identifying symptoms.

And, finally, what do you do to get rid of toxins from die off?

Thanks! Friend PAM
