Think this is what he is considering switching me to. I would like to stay on Rocephin at a lower dose though.

We had one local woman do that, didn't put her into full remission but it helped her for a while. At the time she hadn't treated babs yet though which made a difference later. I agree with you!! Rocephin is best re neuro.

I did IV zith and it did not work at all.
IM bicillin shots worked the best for me.

I did it for 8 months and it was awesome. I did 1,000 mg Mon, Wed & Fri and 500 mg Tues and Thurs, with weekends off. I also took IM Bicillin 4x per week plus large doses of Flagyl and it worked REALLY well. IV Zith can cause temporary ringing in the ears, just s you know when/if you take it that it can do that. The stuff was awesome for me and I made huge progress on it.

I did 3 months oral zith and then 5 months with the picc line. It may have helped a little bit, but not a lot. Took flagyl at the same time. Hiker53

My daughter did 9 months of oral zithromax and 2 months of IV zitromax and had left ear hearing loss that lasted for 4 hours. Now, she is starting IV claforan.
