I had elevated liver enzymes too. Doctor told me to take Milk Thistle and Alpha Lipoic Acid. Had to get my liver tested every week! This combo worked in about 3 weeks and it's back to normal (now I get liver test every 3 weeks). I never had to stop taking medicine.

My liver enzymes have been very high 2X since I started abx treatment in May 06'. I was taken off all treatment except certain supplements both times and my enzymes went down very fast. We have forgone treatment with some of the abx that I was on when my liver enzymes went ballistic but it is very hard to tell exactly what caused the problems when one is on so many meds.

I had several tests for the liver too while off treatment to ensure that there wasn't anything seriously wrong.

I hope yours come down really fast and you can get back on track with treatment.

My liver enzymes and cholesterol have been elevated during and after ABX.

Milk Thistle is good, Dandelion Teas have proven worthy, but the thing that I can attest to most is daily juicing of mostly green vegetables.

I have a specific recipe that I follow, nothing amazing, if anyone wants it PM me, but the juicing has proven effective.

I went a month without juicing and when I did my monthly CBC w/ lipids my numbers were quite high. I resumed juicing a few days after that test and retested a month later, and these numbers were near normal.

My liver was crying after less than one week of infusions, and we had to stop, too.

Do one of Hulda Clark's liver cleanses. Dr. S laughed at me when I told him I'd just done a liver cleanse, but when they scanned my liver again after this had happened, even my 2mm liver lesion had disappeared.

I got rid of my aortic sclerosis and even my COPD, too;)
