Maybe not 100% on the money, but lists symptoms and possible complications, including congestive heart failure.

Nice article Johnnyb..I am one of the people with heart failure from Babs..

I have cardiomyapathy,my EF is 40% and should be 65%..My heart is enlarged and is pushing down two valves,so I have low blood pressure and my atreum is dialated. I have such bad headaches I swear my head is going to pop right off!!

I dont think 10 days is enough to treat like the article says, but it does have good info.I didnt know you can Do I.V treatments for bab's..

Has anyone else gone through the I.V treatments for babs?? I have done Rochephin for 18 weeks, but that doesnt do a thing for the Babs..

Thanks Johnnyb BZ

BZ...I do hope you will be treated for the babs!

I wonder if this is why my mother died of heart failure [and kidney failure]? I know in my heart that she had Lyme and babs.

Ohh,TUTU, I have been treated for babs, Three times this last three years!! I think I just got it bad!!!

I took mepron with zith. The last time I took art along with it, (which I learned here, thank you all very much!!)Herxed really bad and had to stop for awhile,

Now am on Doxi for the winter months..I am curios about the I.V.treatment for babs..maybe that would help!!

I have low blood pressure and am not tolerating the heart pills at all..I cant get to the dose to treat because my blood pressure drops too low..

Thanks TuTu bz

Hi Johnny,

Yes, I did have a stress test four years ago and flunked..I collapsed on the tread mill..I then had an angi..They didnt see anything but that my heart was enlarged..

It wasnt until I had an echo done 6 months ago that they seen what was going on...Have you had one yet??

An echo is not painful at all..Better than an angio...I hope they do one for you so you find out what is really going on..at least to see if there is damage from the Babs..

My Dad died at the age of 54 from heart problems..and my Mom was 56 when she died from heart problems, so I have it in my family and that is where the Lyme attacked, The weakest muscle!!

I wish you lots of luck..Let me know how things are going!! BZ

I really need to be treated for this as I had/have shortness of breath, tachycardia, heart palps and night sweats, but since I didn't get a positive on it, my LLMD has kind of forgotten about it and doesn't seem he wants to treat it. [Frown]

Hi Disturbed,

Please remind your Doctor about The Babs symptoms,It really sounds like Babs to me, but I am Not a Doctor..The LLMD's really know what they are doing, Just remind him of how you are feeling...

Some Doctors like to nock down the Lyme alittle first and then the Babs, and back to the Lyme...They all do things alittle different..I hope you feel better soon...

Johnnyb,I too have mitral and tricuspid reguritation, thats why I have low blood pressure..Cant seem to keep it above 100...

I go to my cardilogist in a couple weeks,He is Lyme Literate..thank goodness and also is familuar with my LLMD.. I will ask him about the pulmonary funtion test..I dont remember having that test,Thanks for the info...BZ
