Just wondering what dosages of bactrim people are using and what antibiotics and doses they are taking in conjunction with bactrim. I realize you are not MD's and everyone may be different. Thanks.

Hi there hiker, I have used bactrim 800-160, 1 1/2 pills, 2x's a day.

I have used it w/ doxy or zith, not both.

Along w/ tinda & art.

I also took 800mg 2 x a day.

Drink lots and lots of water with it.

I took an 800/160 DS tab twice a day. When I added a macrolide and then artemesinin it worked even better.

Bactrim was like a miracle for me.

2 Bactrim DS, 2x daily, so thats 4DS Daily!!!

oops hiker I forgot.....

also add mepron when on doxy then....

add mepron & larim to zith, this combo has helped me turn the corner.

I'll contribute. LLMD just perscibed Bactrim DS 800, 2x a Day. Haven't tried it yet. I'll follow up though.

Right now I'm taking Bactrim and Biaxin.

500mg Biaxin twice a day.

And for some odd reason, I don't know how much Bactrim because the bottle doesn't say how much!

On the Bactrim alone, I feel "normal" for the most part.... then when adding Biaxin, I herx... Not fun at all.
