I was in remission with severe Lyme's for 9 years. I had emergency surgery total hysterectomy a year ago...Lyme has resurfaced with vengence and I read where hormone imbalance and lack there of it can reak havoc on the body...
Natural hormone therapy is the way to go I'm told... Does anyone know anything about hormone imbalance and Lymes'? And where would one find a Dr. who specializes in BHRT?

I went to a presentation given by D. Cheryle R. Hart regarding boidentical hormones. She's also authored the book The Insulin Resistance diet. I think her website is hormonesbyhart.com.
She has quite a comprehensive method for testing for hormone levels as well as a pretty cohesive treatment plan.
I was pretty impressed by what she had to say. I didn't do the testing because it was fairly expensive and I didn't have medical insurance at the time, but if I was going that route, it would definitely be with her.

Sometimes one good way to find doctors who specialize in bio-identical hormone therapy is by contacting a nearby Compounding Pharmacy. Some of the bio-identical hormones are compounded individually by a compounding pharmacist for the particular patient per the prescribing doctor's orders. So, it might be worth contacting one near you to find out if they can recommend a physician who deals with bio-identical hormone replacement.
If you don't know of a compounding pharmacy near you, here are a couple of websites you can try:
