I have been on Azithomycin 250mg twice a day for 3 weeks. After the first uneventful week, I developed a bladder infection which I occasionally suffer from.

I began taking 250mg Cipro twice a day which I always have done. My infection cleared up as I expected.

However, at the same time I felt much better in general - less fatigue and better quality of life. I drew no significance to the use of the Az/Cipro until I went off of the Cipro and my old crappy feelings returned.

My question is have I discovered something or is my imagination playing a trick on me?

Are others using AZ/Cipro combo as a Lyme protocol? If so, at what levels?

Should I contact my LLMD and suggest a trial of them?

I am anxious to give this combo a further trial but would like some further confirmations of others success.

I had that happen when I went on Cipro, so I got a clinical bartonella diagnosis, started on Levaquin (stronger than Cipro), took it for three months, and am feeling GREAT!

Now I'm weaning off abx and focusing on getting my adrenals/thyroid working better. I'm using Full Cowden as I wean off abx.
