Have not taken any medicine since saturday and have been detoxing instead for the past few days. I have already noticed a huge improvement on my hair loss - it feels much thicker. Is this possible in only the short amount of time off abx? What could be the cause of it?

Good job, Trish. Yes, it is possible. My hair was coming out in handfuls while on IV abx. Shortly after stopping the IV my hair started to grow back. It is a great feeling, isn't it?

You know, my hair was falling out prior to treatment! Since being on abx for a year it has grown in nice and thick again. Even relative strangers are noticing (like the lady at the checkout line at the grocery store).
To see pics from a year ago and from today .... my hair is totally different. I've had to have quite a few inches of the bad stuff cut off ....
But, yeah, this does seem to affect hair. So does thyroid, did your thyroid maybe get low while you were on meds?

Being on multiple meds at once represents a heavy detox load to the liver and kidneys, and by that nature a greater metabolic energy demand, and that could add more strain to a thyroid already struggling to fuel a stressed immune system. Not much of a stretch at all, really...
