for example-i have brain fog, weight gain, thinning hair AND insomnia, irritability and increased perspiration.
what does this mean?
my temp is low and sometimes i test a little low.
Symptoms of Hypothyroidism (An underactive thyroid)
fatigue, exhaustion feeling run down and sluggish depression difficulty concentrating, brain fog unexplained or excessive weight gain dry, coarse and/or itchy skin dry, coarse and/or thinning hair feeling cold, especially in the extremities constipation muscle cramps increased menstrual flow more frequent periods infertility/miscarriage
Symptoms of Hyperthryodisim (An overactive thyroid)
nervousness irritability increased perspiration thinning of your skin fine brittle hair muscular weakness especially involving the upper arms and thighs shaky hands panic disorder insomnia racing heart more frequent bowel movements weight loss despite a good appetite lighter flow, less frequent menstrual periods

Well... the only problem is that some of those symptoms can be from Lyme ... alas.
Maybe it's low thyroid and Lyme??

Yes, my hair was falling out, so i raised my thyroid pill dose, which gave me insomnia, so i lowered it, and more hair fell out, so now i'm switching to Armour. Also my TSH tested at 30, but my free T4 was normal.

yes, defnitely i have from both lists. i do have hashimoto's (from lyme) and so far it has caused mostly hypothyroidism. but it has gone the other way too.
get tested by someone knowledgeable-- someone who tests more than just tsh and knows to test for hashi antibodies.
i just started aromour 30mg-- too early to report prgoress.
