I often wonder often if my heart is ok, everything else isn't, especially nervous system.
I have read even though symptoms are not present an organ can be involved like the heart and we wouldn't know it. It seems to me there would be some symptoms or clue to heart problems, what would be symptoms of cardiac involvement?
When first infected & then diagnosed, I had a treadmill test, but that was very early in LD diagnosis. Also several EkG's all perfectly fine. But like I said these tests were around the time of diagnosis almost 2 years ago. I wonder since I have had LD so long if I should have these tests again.
Recently, had ab ultrasound which includes aorta, also fine. Blood pressure is always good, cholestrol etc.
I do have dizziness, but I believe that is LD brain or vestibuar related...but not 100% sure at this point.
i've had stress tests on treadmill hooked up to monitors; them giving me something to make my heart the fastest it could, which to them showed a blocked artery.
had a ANGIOGRAM done at hospital; it showed NO ARTERIES were blocked!! it was fun to watch them do this on tv camera.
i just went to a class Fri. on AORTIC ANEURISMS which was very informative as well. this dr. said the cheap tests offered for those coming thru our communities work quite good for catching BEGINNING PROBLEMS; so he encouraged folks to do these for $150 for 2-3 tests done.
If something is found, then make appt. for heart dr. best wishes; this is what I know off hand and can remember. lol

I agree with TUTU..get and echocardiogram!!! Doesnt hurt and is pretty cool to watch!!
I had an angigram and showed nothing but that my heart was enlarged..That quack did no other tests!!
I had an echo done 6 months ago and found lots of thing wrong...
My heart is enlarged,2 leaky valves, left atrim is dilated and my EF is 40%...
I have been screwed out of Disability because the first Heart Doctor didnt do the Echo...
The signs I had where that I couldnt walk up any stairs without losing my breath and having bad chest pains,I cant walk up any incline without same symtoms..
My legs swell when I sit too long or try to walk in a store..Push on your lower leg and see if you leave an indent!! Thats a good sign your heart is not working well!!
DONT wait, see a GOOD heart Doctor or have your LLMD order an echo!!
My cardiomyapathy is caused by Lyme!!! I wish you the best of luck!! BZ

They found aortic sclerosis on my cardiac echo and didn't find that significant.
My symptoms were difficulty breathing, rapid heart rate 24/7 pretty much, high blood pressure (for me!), bluish gums, and dizzy spells both standing and lying down.
I actually had one of these spells yesterday morning again. I felt less dizzy when I stood up.
I'd go to a doctor, but why? None of them truly care about their patients.
Anybody watch House MD? That's the kind of doctor I want. One that will go out of his way to find the cell phone tower that is pointed at my house and pops Vicodin in between patients (and will lend me some?) because it works. He's hot, too.

So sorry you are having such bad problems with your heart!! Please find a Heart Doctor that is Lyme Literate!!
Your Sx are not good and you should try a differant Doctor to repeat the test..
I went through many Ducks before I found a GOOD LLMD and he refered me to Cardiologist..There IS good doc's out there, but they are hard to find!!
The first thing the heart Doctor told me was "I bet you are sick of being sick" I KNEW I was at the right place..He is very kind and really listens to me..I am thankful for him...
I have low blood pressure due to the leaky valves and the treatment for Cardiomyapathy is high blood pressure meds..
Soo..I am having a really hard time with the meds..my blood pressure drops down in the 60's and I cant even lift my arm..
Some people just cant tolerate the treatments. and I am one of them, but I am not giving up!!!!
Please get checked out by a Doc that knows what is going on!! BZ
