i am still coughing from the bronchitis and go into spells when i first lay down. i get short of breath when i talk and it's been 4 frillin weeks with this crap.
but i think i'm going to have to go back for more antibiotics. when i blow my nose it's so thick i can't get it out and when i cough it up, it's a very yucky green.
i really hurt under my eyes and the pain woke me up last night. my eyes even hurt....
i guess the two weeks of omnicef didn't get it all.
anybody have sinus problems with this bronchitis lately, or is it the lyme just being firmly entrenched and making things worse??
i'm using salt solution in the nose but it doesn't seem to help.

Oh it sounds like you have a REAL good one, huh? I'd surmise you need a change in antibiotics if 2 weeks on Omnicef doesn't do anything -- maybe something stronger like Avelox (it's in the same family as sulfa drugs and Cipro, I believe, but a generation or two newer). I had bronchitis a couple of years ago, and was on two different antibiotics before my doc rx'd Avelox, and that did it. Meanwhile, lots of liquids and lots of Mucinex!! (When guiafenisin -- Mucinex -- was still a prescription, my doctor had me taking twice as high a dose as over-the-counter recommends.)
