I was afraid to go to sleep last night. The pain was so intense. My torso up feel like I was either hit by a truck or badly beaten.

My skin feels as though I have a horrible sunburn.

I'm not getting any answers and not sure what to do.

I'm so inflammed it's ridiculous.

First of all I apologize for my previous posts to you.

The content still is correct,,,but I assumed you were a MALE poster and didnt realize you were female till another post afterwards where you discuss this.

Wish we had icons by our names designating our gender. 'SOME' names are gender neutral. I once knew a guy named Peck,,,I guess that my fault!!

Anyway to your question of the day,,,I have heard GREAT things from using Zango mangosteen juice to fix inflamation.

I dont sell it but know those that do. Have read where husband leaves for out of town short biz trip, husband returns asks woman living in HIS house where his wife went??

Wife says,,,"right here honey" ,,,NO my wife was sick, your not!!!! he met a NEW person he didnt know!!

Another pain management thing "I" do is take magnesium and calcium,,,works for me!!

I also take osteo Bi-Flex glucosomine/clondritin and that helps the arthritis the most!!

Hope things improve,,,experiment with suplements,,,usually something helps!! still --just don--

I'm sorry you are in so much pain.

When the bugs die in the tissues, it can cause inflammation. Even if you aren't in treatment, if you have lyme, you will have die off in your tissues. Good detox is helpful as well as anti-inflammatory support.

Some things I take for inflammation are
digestive enzymes between meals - this also helps with detox - enzymes on an empty stomach eat debri

serraflazyme
rutin
bromelain
quercitin

The burning could be neuropathy - damage to nerves. I had that very badly in my hands and feet before treatment. It is much better now so it does get better with treatment. Also, check your blood sugars because high blood sugars can cause neuropathic pain.

If you are in treatment, contact your doctor and let them know if you haven't already.

I hope you feel better soon.

Terry

Also would say hold on sounds like your in a herx extended.Drink lot of water for flushing and lay still as much as possible. There is also a build up of lactic acid in your body from spirochetes.
I know this really helped me b12 shots but I dont know how long you have been dealing with this disease I have for a long time.
Make sure your taking supliments also b complex,cq10,multi vitamin, acidophilis, and for sleep I use melatonin its also a super antioxident, take a good antinflamatory to.

I'm sorry you have such pain. Mangosteen has really helped me in the pain department....bigtime.

Here is some info:

I'm so glad I have you guys.

It's funny, I mean strange, when I look back over the past 16 years and remember how crappy I was feeling and to finally put it all together.

I was treated in 1999 for just under a year and started again this past September.

It's depressing really. The lack of care I received and lack of understanding from my family. It put a huge wrench in my marriage and my not yet ex-husband really showed his true colors in the ole' "sickness and health".
His girlfriend is apparently healthy. Ugly of course but healthy [Smile]

Time to lay down.

You might need to cut back on your antibiotics. Call your LLMD tomorrow and let them know how much pain you are having. Pain can weaken the immune system, so it's not always best to push through the pain.

The sunburn type pain sounds like nerve pain. If it continues, I know some people have had good results with Lyrica or Neurontin for nerve pain.

Have you ever done meditation? It can really help your body relax, and relaxing the body can reduce pain. One trick is to try and expand your senses to pay attention to smells and sounds around you and not just to how your body feels.

The less you pay attention to the pain, the less pain you feel. I know it's difficult to think about the possibility of doing it. But try it, it can really do amazing things. I find just trying to listen to sounds around me makes a big difference.

You know one of my questions, when this happened to me was "Can this really be Lyme Disease surely I have bone cancer or something".

Well, it can be Lyme Disease and it can get better. I dont have any medical advice but I know that iv antibiotics helped me. I have some issues still ( feet pain, weight etc) but mostly all gone and I was not treated until almost two years.

Good luck.

Oh my, I know what you mean, every horrible thought has gone through my head.

Aniek, today, I sat in silence with my aromatherpy band around my neck and just concentrated on my breathing. It works. Of course if I move I'll cry.

It was difficult dressing today. Very limited to what clothing could touch me today. No bra's allowed.

Crying only makes it worse. Of course looking at myself without a bra makes me cry. [Smile]

It probably is herx pain, and everything everyone else is saying is great.

However, in addition, I also do a detox bath when I herx to purge all of those toxic spirochetes from my body.

I take about 1/4 cup ginger in a really hot bath for about 20-30 minutes until I'm sweating profusely. Then I wrap in a COTTON or something else organic sheet and go to bed.

First of all, you'll sleep like a baby, but also you'll continue to sweat out all of those dead bacteria.

Also, remember you cannot drink too much water during a herx! Sometimes it's the last thing I want to do, but drinking water flushes it all out as well.

Pain is evil, but relax as much as possible, this too shall pass!
