As a relatively new poster, I am finding all these acronyms confusing. ART (I've seen MANY variations of this--ART, Art, art), MSM and many more.
Could someone please explain these? Or maybe there could be one place on this site where one could go to look these up.
Any assitance appreciated. Thanks!

Good morning Niere,
ART can stand for a couple of things: Autonomic Response Testing or the herb Artemisinin, depending on the context. MSM is the supplement Methylsulfonylmethane commonly used for joints.
CSF: Cerebrospinal fluid, the colorless liquid, consisting partially of substances filtered from blood and partially by secretions released from brain cells, that circulates around and through the cavities of the brain and spinal cord.
CNS: Central nervous system.
Cytokines: powerful chemical substances secreted by T cells. Cytokines are an important factor in the production of inflammation.

Demyelination: Damage caused to myelin by recurrent attacks of inflammation. Ultimately results in nervous system scars, called plaques, which interrupt communications between nerves and the rest of the body.

i understand your confusion; i'm still confused after 3.5 years on here!
people use them too much WITHOUT putting in the typed name ONCE in message, which should be mandatory for all newbies/oldies.
that's my personal opinion, and I'm sticking to that story!

Hey Niere,
I began saving informative links a long time ago. There are several ways you could go about it...
* Create a 'Lyme links' folder in your browser 'Bookmarks' and save pages there while on them.
* Copy and paste links into a word document that you can refer back to.
* Email the page to yourself and hold that email in a special folder. (Because this is your thread, it should have already been emailed to you IF you checked the 'email notification' option when you created it.)

hI melanie,
i just got a brand new pc since other crashed; i've just started saving things to favorite BUT not to a link like you suggested.
i have now created LYME LINKS. is there a way for me to mark all LYME related links set up earlier so they can go in lyme group link?

Hey Betty,
I THINK what you are asking is if you can move previously saved Lyme links to your newly made Lyme folder?
You should be able to open your "favorites" page and simply select and drag any saved link into your new folder.
If that wasn't what you needed to know, please ask again, and I will try to help.

I use a text document, which is located at the bottom of my screen....down there next to the "start" button.
I don't know HOW to set that up, though!! Every time my puter crashes, I have to have someone set it up for me again....but it's SOOO great to have it so accessible! All my links are there.
Right now, my computer is down and I'm on my laptop which does not have the text document set up....AAARRRGGHH!!!
