Sure, i find some of them essential. I take Andrographis 1600 mg , 4x/day, Polygonum 4000 mg, 4x/day. I really feel worse if i miss doses.

Cat's Claw is an effective lyme-fighter, but i can't take it because it causes me wrist and foot tendon pain if i take it regularly.

I take 1/4 tsp Teasel root extract also 3x/day,; it always makes me feel better.

PS, i should say that i also take antibiotics, and i do think that the antibiotics are stronger and hit me harder. I use the Andrographis, etc, as background accompaniment for the antibiotics. Buhner herbals alone do not control my illness, which may well include babesia besides lyme. I really envy the people who can improve on just herbals without any antibiotics.

The dose i told you may be too high to start out with. People say to start low.

Our son has been on this protocol for about one month. He's been home from school since before Thanksgiving, but now he is back and he is even going to wrestle tomorrow at a tournament.

He's never tested positive for co-infections. He is not any other antibiotics currently.

He still has many symptoms, but not enought to keep him bed-ridden. I'll keep posting and let you know if the progress continues.

We are going to add antibiotics in to the mix again eventually. Right now we're giving his body a break from them.

I think that lot of the benefits of the Buhner herbs (and all other herbs) come from their imuno-modulatory and anti-inflammatory properties, not just the direct effect they have on the bacteria and viruses.

For example my worst symptom is neuropathic pain/sensitivity in limbs. When I take andrographis/cat's claw/resveratrol/boneset tea/red root my symptoms go way down and I feel better in a day.
I plan to add nutramedix cumanda and banderol to the above mentioned regimen.

This is not voodoo...check out sites like pubmed.org etc. and you will see lots of scientific articles about the effects these herbs have on pathogens and your immune system.

Make sure you're also taking the Burrascano supplements and lay off the simple carbs, which depress your immune system.
