Lyme can cause headaches.

The other day I felt like my brain was going to explode so i know how horrible they are.

I am not sure I know what you mean by bleeding sensation though.

I have babs (which can also cause headaches) and lyme so I am not sure the source.

Is your neck stiff and/or achy? this tends to produce painful headaches in me.

Hope your headaches stop soon [group hug]

I get the same type of headaches you describe - it's even worse if I take coral calcium. I have electromagnetic hypersensitivities though, and I know exposure messes with calcium's movement in and out of cells.

Did you get these before your scan? Have they gotten worse since the scan?

My head was killing me throughout a SPECT scan I had done, and as soon as she turned the machine on, I felt the urge to urinate. That was the longest 45 minutes of my life - trying not to pee on myself and not move at the same time.

Hey Surf,

I get that kind of headache and it is Lyme. I have always said that it feels like my head is bleeding. Often, I even touch it to check for blood.

I also get other strange sensations, sometimes it fels like I am wearing a hat, other times weird surges go through my brain, and still others, it feels like the right side of my head weighs 50 pounds....all Lyme.

Nothing that I have tried as far as relief has helped....sometimes klonopin or xanax makes me forget a little, but that's it.
