Numb finger tips is where my symptoms began 6 months ago.
Many other symptoms that are minor and come and go, but the numbness persists and is getting worse.
Neurologist- "possible MS"
Waiting on LD labs w/ a LLMD.
I now have numb finger tips and fingers, progressing into my hands.
Extreme temps, especially hot, make my finger tips horrible.
In the shower, my tips prune within 1 minute.
When I get out they feel so "shrunken" sensitive, "stripped of the skin", numb....I have a really hard time grasping small objects, such as a pair of earrings.
My typing is getting very bad....very numb tips, can't feel the keys well, and hit adjacent keys making errors I've never made in the past.

I totally have almost all this - you are the first one to mention "pruning" in the shower really fast. This happens to me!!
I have some hot sensitivity but I'm horribly sensitive to cold on my fingers right now - my fingers will ache big time if I try to find something in the freezer - I have to wear gloves.
Numbness is an issue for me all over including my scalp, nose and sometimes cheeks.
When it happens in my hands it's always the left hand, pink and ring finger only. Bizarre. Will last an hour to a day, goes away, comes back.
I stopped antibiotics about 12 days ago to see where I'm at - numbness in my hand was one of the first to come back!!
Sometimes the skin the top of my left hand is also numb.
Doc wants me to get an MRI (MS? Lyme lesions?).
I totally think this is all Lyme. I treated for 6 months. I was MUCH better until I went off abx. Going back on next week. Bummer.
Keep treating your Lyme, you'll get better. PM me if you want to talk more.

My big toes on both feet used to stay numb a good part of the time. Also, my thumbs and index fingers on both hands. Before I started my first round of Doxy, my entire left hand up past my wrist was completely numb........for about 3 or 4 months.
I couldn't stand temperature change very well either; I think that is pretty common because our sense of touch gets so out of whack.
I am much better with all of that now, but if I go off any abx, it comes back rather quickly. I have neurolyme, so my LLMD isn't surprised by any of this.
Being a nail tech, I use my hands to make a living, literally. It took some real maneuvering on my part (and my client's) to work around this. I am thankful that it was my left hand since I am right handed.
