The issue around eye floaters is somewhat complicated.
It is not always relevant to Lyme in particular, but it reflects a disease state, esp. when accompanied by light sensitivity.
I do not think spirochetes are involved, but certain bacteria could be causing problems in the area. I don't think there is any immediate risk to eyesight, but could cause complications to unrelated eye disorders.
Always seek medical emergency care if you experience lightning flashes in your field of vision.
