Seems like sometimes when I take my Diflucan, I feel a rush a symptoms..

Within 10 minutes, I hurt all over, feel nausea, aggitated, flu-like..then later feel all better.

Is this a possible herx or just all in my mind? Anybody? [confused]

Diflucan causes a die off too....of yeast which releases toxins. So yes

You can herx on it. I have.

It is also a recommended protocol for lyme...

I am on a diflucan protocol right now.

Hugs,

Geneal

Hurting all over, nausea, agitation, and flu-like symptoms are not all in your head! I herxed to the extreme on diflucan before knowing I had lyme. My doctor gave it to me for systemic candida, but I'm certain it also killed lyme.

I couldn't function and I was in massive misery, but my doctor told me to stick with it. I wanted to get well so badly, that I did. Later I learned that kicking one's self to the gutter during treatment is not necessary nor helpful. Needless to say, I have a new doctor now. But, yes, it can cause herxing.

Take care.

I just started diflucan 5 days ago.. I didnt think I had a yeast problem at all.. but now I have a yeast infection, which I have never had one before.. I guess its part of a die off.. I didnt think you can have die off with diflucan.. its really good to know that Iam not going crazy
