Can anyone else hear their blood pulse through their head? It kind of sounds like roaring, but I noticed it's in sink with my pulse, so it must be the blood pulsing through my head that I hear.
I notice it a lot when I'm lying down trying to sleep.
Anyone else?

Oh yes, I have this too. Try to sleep on your back instead, in that way it doesnt get so bothersome.

Have you checked your blood pressure when this happens? I suspect it would be high, as this was what was happening to me until I got my pressure under control. (And I do recall insisting I could feel my heartbeat on the back of my head during my duck days when they had me on Prednisone and my bp was 170/110...)

lymeinhell - I doubt it would be caused by high blood pressure (at least for me), since my blood pressure is always very low. It rarely ever goes into the 100/60 range, actually. It's usually 80/50 or 90/50.

Hi!
This happened to me and I finally told my PCP and turns out I have tachycardia (high herat rate)
It kept me up.
He put me on Propanolol for it and my heart rate is down now and It doesnt happen that often.

roro and melissa - Yes, I also have tachycardia off and on (usually more often than not, sadly) and I used to be on Toprol-XL, but after antibiotic treatment I noticed it wasn't so bad so I got off the Toprol. Since then, I have some good pulse days and other days my pulse is racing.
I guess maybe that is what causes this. Augh.

Try supplementing with magnesium or cal/mag citrate, also try bathing an hour or so before bed in a Epsom salt solution with 2 to 4 lbs of the salt in the mix along with two tablespoons of an iodine/povidine solution. (Always tell someone that you are going to take a bath, and instruct them to check on you every 5 to 10 minutes)
IMO
PS: Do you have a positive WB band at 39kDa?
