Another question from Sweden.
Anyone cured after using the Marshall Protocol?
Cured meaning working full time again?

Greetings Inger

Inglip, you may not get many replies to your question because this has been discussed several times in the past.

Since you are having trouble with the search function, here are a few MP discussions:

Hi Inger.

I've been on the MP for 17 months and have gone from bed-ridden to physically active and cognitively able. Lot's of weird changes have occurred in my body as well! It's a difficult journey, but I have my life back...I expect to be in phase 3 for another 2-3 months, then will taper down to just mino and Benicar for another year and half.

Feel free to email or PM with questions; I have a ton of research and documents to share as well. I am off to the gym!

While there are some who have improvement on MP, you should have your vit D level tested, and if it is low start with low level supplementation with gradual increases if tolerated. MP does the opposite, and can have negative consequences if D gets too low. Since you are from Sweden, it is more likely that you have a simple D deficiency...

Doctor, I've asked you this before, as you are giving advice about D -- are you a doctor?

D is known to be a prohormone, a secosteroid by many docs and a vitamin to most laymen (that's me). It's a tricky supplement to prescribe -- when it helps some people and hurts others. Careful about the advice, doctor.

That said, vitamin B12 has helped me a lot. That's the methylcobalamin kind -- not the other junk that most drug stores sell! I think B12 has helped me detox more efficiently...at least that's my educated guess. I am feeling much better and have more energy and less herxing.

There are some credible aspects to certain detox recommendations I've read through the years...I just found a very good one on the liver that I can send along by email (12 pages, word doc).

I just started a variation of the MP. So far:

mino 100 mg alternating days

zith 600 mg alternating days

benicar - working up to 10 mg 2X day

I don't know if this can really be called a 'variation,' maybe 'corruption' is more accurate.

I have only been on this protocol seven days and today for the first time in years, I had enough energy to drive to a store and back all by myself and did NOT get a migraine from the bright lights.

I am also on the buhner protocol.

I know it's too early to tell if the benicar and mino are doing the job, but I thought I'd share, for what it's worth.

CottonBrain, funny how you say maybe it's not a variation but a corruption.

It is important to know that there are no variations to the MP. In Bryan Rossner's book about the Top 10 lyme treatments, he says he would go between MP and rife. He said this was totally NOT within the scope of MP and the MP folks discount his method.

So, just for others to be clear there are no variations of MP.

However, Benicar certainly is used as a Rx outside of the MP.

Ooops... Time for "Men in Trees." Gotta go.

Getting vitamin D tested first... special diet, special sunglasses . . .
