Could this be a coincidence or could it be caused from abx? I have not had a cold in 3 years so I am a bit suprised by this?

Hi Trish,

Have you changed antibiotics? When I change antibiotics I usually feel like I have come down with the flu. For me this is a herx reaction, and lets up in a day or two. I don't get these severe herx reactions some people get. Just feel like I have the bad flu with a runny nose, which I think is the way my body helps try to clear itself. Or it may just be a cold, not everything is Lyme. Have you been around anyone else with a cold?

Tracy

I get them or I did get the cold symtoms they stop happening after enough treatment then its just the regular herx I think what causes it is just so many toxins that the body resorts to useing anything it can rid itself.

Yes I did just change antibiotics so I think that may have played a part in me getting this sick.
I have never really had a srong herx just a mild neuro one, but it could def be the toxins building up.

Unfortunately though I think I was wrong about thinking it was a cold. Im pretty sure it is the flu. These are my symptoms

sneezing/coughing/very clogged nose
headache in back and near eyes
jaw and teeth soreness
very sore throat
Extreme tiredness
NO fever

Is it more likely the flu, rather than a cold?
