Anybody else go see Dr. F and have his two day workup? I leave Sunday for Monday, Tuesday appointment and was wondering what others thought of their experience.

Thanks in advance!

Jenn

suggest you do a search here for some info-just put in his last name and see what comes up.

dr. f is the most experienced Lyme researcher in the US- i expect you'll find that most have had a positive experience with him.

I've heard some negatives too so I think we'd all be interested to hear how it goes.

Wishing you a successful trip.

I have to wonder about a guy that puts out there in the media that he doesn't think long term antibiotics help chronic lyme disease by killing off lyme, but thinks there might be some other mechanism of action making patients feel better.

I mean, I know we like the guy, but seems to me he is sitting on the fence.

I referred a friend to him that lived close. She has MS and her son developed severe pysch symptoms in 11 grade. Several people in their neighborhood have lyme and he sent them packing without even testing.

How horrible. I fear someone is going to jump on me for this, but there are far better llmds in the area, like Dr. H in Hyde Park. Go there. He is wonderful, and he takes insurance last time I checked. He treated my entire family for two years, before we moved away. And he treats all of you, not just your lyme.
