At the top of Medical there is a post called Dr. C's Western Blot explanation.

Please get your son to a LLMD asap.

If you are not sure....post in Seeking a Doctor with your city and state

And someone can help you find a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor.

Your son shows Lyme specific bands.

Hugs,

Geneal

Lyme. 31++ is Bb specific, and usually shows later in disease, if at all. 31 is also what the Lyme vaccine was made from.....so, to me, it's pretty clear!

Best of luck to your son [Wink]

83-93 is also a Bb specific band, meaning that there is nothing else known to react to this band except Bb.

How long has your son been symptomatic?

Lymetoo and Feelfit,
After the initail consultation in Feb,08 we realized my son has been symptomatic since 2003. We're just now putting all the puzzle pieces together and understanding how the seemingly unrelated illnesses through the years really were linked. He is currently on a ridiculous amount of pain med to manage symptoms. This site along with other resources have been so helpful .It's amazing how so many independent contacts have all pointed to the same LLMD and have only re-confirmed the decision to seek treatment from this person. What a blessing to have that confirmation. Our plan is to start oral abx within the next 10 days.. just waiting for last round of lab results to ensure nothing strange appears.

Thank you for your patience and kindness to those of us just entering this journey. You guys are the best !

PD
